I mostly made the kit as it came except I added a second page to the 1 page layout using an extra sheet of White Daisy, Linen and Juniper. The instructions provided by home office is just SO gorgeous! You can view them here. You won't want to miss this special! It is available until August 31st.

CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Vellum Makes Everything Better

For my project today I decided I wanted to use up some of the leftover PML cards from the Forever & Always Cut Above Kit. It was the last layout I needed for my wedding album and it couldn't be too "girly". I used the copper stripped vellum pieces from the Rustic Home Collection and flipped it over to get "silver" type lines instead of the copper. As you can tell it is behind the flower card and photos in the last picture. The right strip of white wood grain patterned paper were two PML cards from the Forever & Always Cut Above Kit as well. ;)

I used many different paper and scraps from here and there to complete this page, bringing it all together. I was quite pleased with the way it turned out. Don't forget that our Cut Above kits are only 9.50$ this month only! While supplies last.

I did the original workshop by Tina Lovell (featured below) and still had over 5 full sheets of paper left and a bunch of scraps. So I made this lovely 2 page layout for my wedding album. (I'm really determined to get this album done this year lol). I also wanted to test out the waterpaints on the Gold resist PML cards. Isn't it gorgeous? And super fun too. Just a tip if painting on the cards don't use too much water or it will run everywhere. I wiped my extra off with a baby wipe and it ended up blending together to make a very soft and beautiful card. I love it.

I also made this cute card for my Mom for Mother's Day! :)

May SOTM Blog Hop - Celebrate with Cake

I have to admit I have really procrastinated on doing my wedding album. I was married 5 years ago and still haven't finished it. So I used an old (really old) paper pack for the background in this layout, mixed in with some new products. Sorry about that but I had ordered like 3 of these paper packs with the intention of using them for my wedding album :o. So far I have not been using it because let's face it, La Vie en Rose and the new Happy Times Paper Pack just looks so much better. Lol. This stamp worked really well for this page as we had a dessert reception. I recently bought the color blending shinhan marker and decided to test it out. It's quite fun playing around with the markers.
