I tried to think outside the box for this layout. I thought it would be cute for a baby layout. I used Sapphire ink for the banner. I stamped it in first, second and third generation.

December SOTM Blog Hop - Thoughtful Flowers

It has been awhile since I have participated in a Blog Hop. I've been just way too busy lately. I originally planned on making a beautiful scrapbook page but in the end I once again had no time. :( 

Oh well. Here is a card I made using the SOTM. I stamped with archival ink and used the waterbrush to paint in the flowers. I know the lighting in the picture is pretty bad but it is honestly beautiful up close. I did a lot of layering and used 3D tape. I plan on painting up a whole sheet of flowers and making a gorgeous layout using the technique. I can't wait to have the TIME! lol.

Sorry for the poor quality photo. So I needed to finish up my Georgie scraps and I found that it matched well with some of the scraps I had left from the Happy Times paper pack. Done deal. Lol. This is a very basic, quick and easy page to put together. I must say that the stamp of the month this month is quite versatile and will work well with MANY different types of projects. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it.

I have to admit I have really procrastinated on doing my wedding album. I was married 5 years ago and still haven't finished it. So I used an old (really old) paper pack for the background in this layout, mixed in with some new products. Sorry about that but I had ordered like 3 of these paper packs with the intention of using them for my wedding album :o. So far I have not been using it because let's face it, La Vie en Rose and the new Happy Times Paper Pack just looks so much better. Lol. This stamp worked really well for this page as we had a dessert reception. I recently bought the color blending shinhan marker and decided to test it out. It's quite fun playing around with the markers.

I absolutely love using leftovers scraps to make additional pages and use up all my supplies. I used some leftover stickers and a PML card from the Charlotte Paper Pack along with some other bits and ends. The "photo" squares and heart was inked over top of some cardstock painted with our fabulous waterpaints. Yes, I have been using my waterpaints with almost all my recent projects, whoops. I used my watercolor paints to make this soft layout featuring my baby girl's first month in the real world. The birds and butterflies are all stamped on some water color cardstock I previously painted. The sun and sentiment was painted and inked directly on the page.
